So here it is — Entry One. Our first official journal post.
Feels a bit surreal writing this... but also very on brand. Because honestly? This whole journey has felt like one giant, scribbled journal page: a mess of ideas, tangled cables, questionable sleep schedules, and the occasional emotional breakdown. Balanced, of course, with blind optimism and caffeine.
But let’s rewind for a sec and actually introduce ourselves properly.
👋 Hey! We’re Pebbl Innovations.
Nous sommes une petite équipe basée au Royaume-Uni (juste nous deux) qui conçoit des produits qui simplifient le quotidien. Notre premier produit ? Le Pebble One : un enrouleur de câbles discret et compact qui se fixe à vos câbles et vous libère des nœuds en un clic.
Parce qu'on en avait marre des bureaux en désordre, des sacs qui débordent et de ce fameux tiroir à câbles qui devient un vrai trou noir. Et si vous souffrez de TDAH comme moi, vous savez que ce n'est pas juste un désagrément : c'est perturbant et ça transforme même la recharge de vos appareils en corvée.
Nous avons cherché quelque chose sur le marché. Quelque chose d'automatique, de compact et d'esthétique.
Encore un gros hexagone qui semble tout droit sorti d'un tiroir oublié de vieilles technologies.
Mais rien n'a vraiment fonctionné.
Alors… nous en avons fait un.
(Bon, techniquement, c'est Arik qui en a fait un. Moi, j'étais de l'autre côté de la pièce à crier des trucs du genre : « Fais-le plus mignon ! » et « Il nous faut un logo ! »)
À un moment donné, ce n'était plus un projet parallèle.
C'est devenu notre obsession.
💭 “Just start — and it’ll click.”
That’s the quote. That’s the idea. That’s literally how this whole thing came to life.
We didn’t have a business plan (still kinda don’t). We weren’t ready. We were students. We were broke. And we are still all of these things. But we just started.
And once we did, things started to click — not all at once, and not always perfectly. But piece by messy piece, prototype by failed prototype, version by even more broken version… something real began to take shape.
That’s also why this journal exists. To share that journey. The chaos, the scrappy wins, the “we have no idea what we’re doing but we’re doing it anyway” energy.
Because we’re not just building a product — we’re building a bigger idea.
One that says: you don’t need to wait until you’re ready.
You just need to start— and eventually, it’ll click.
