Journal Entry 007 — Vote Pebbl Reminder

Wow. First of all — thank you. The support, the message, the shares… we see it all, and it means the world to us. Especially because so many of you are new here (hi ), and you’re already showing up in big ways.
We have less than 24 hours left to vote in the university pitch competition, and honestly — we’re feeling all the emotions. This vote could be a major turning point for Pebbl, giving us access to funding and resources that would literally change the game: faster shipping, international delivery, no more preorder delays, and room to create new designs, colours, and versions you’ve all been asking for.

🗣️ Let’s Talk About The Pitch
Last week, we pitched Pebbl — and as someone with ADHD and anxiety, I (Holly) won’t lie: it was really tough. But this brand was born out of a personal challenge to myself — to do the hard thing anyway. And I did it, with my co-founder Arik right there beside me.
Arik was proper nervous too (we both were, to be honest). But we showed up — as ourselves — and shared the real story behind Pebbl, what we’ve built so far, and what it could become with the right support. The judges loved the concept and gave us amazing feedback that’s already shaping what comes next.
And honestly? This is exactly what we tell you to do.
To just start — even if it’s messy, even if you don’t feel ready.
To find comfort in the discomfort.
To trust that eventually... it’ll click.
We’re building this brand for the doers, the go-getters, the people who don’t wait for the “right time.” And this week, we had to walk that talk ourselves.
We’re proud of how far we’ve come — and even more excited for where we’re going.
📦 Shipping & Customs Update
Transparency moment: international shipping has been tricky. Some of you have received unexpected customs duties after placing an order, and that’s on us. We did try to note this clearly on the shop page, our policies, and on Instagram — but it’s clear it wasn’t obvious enough.
So here's the deal: for the next launch, we’ll be including estimated customs fees upfront in international shipping prices to avoid those “surprise” emails asking you to pay more. It may raise the price a little at checkout, but you won’t be hit with extra fees later. Fairer, clearer, better.
