By Holly, co-founder of Pebbl Innovations
Hi Doers and Go-Getters,
It’s been a little while since our last journal post, and honestly, so much has happened behind the scenes, we’ve barely had a moment to breathe (in the best way).
After winning £8,000 in funding and £2,000 of legal advice through a university competition with the University of Bristol, it’s been all go, go, go. We’ve been quiet here, but for good reason, and we’re so excited to finally bring you back into the loop.
⏳ A Quick Update on the Next Launch
We know so many of you are patiently (or not-so-patiently 😅) waiting on our next launch, and we’ve heard your messages asking for a release date. While we don’t have an exact launch date just yet, we promise that those of you who have accepted marketing will be the first to know when we go live again.
We’re spending this time building out the backend systems to make the next launch smoother, faster, and more reliable, and no more delays.
📐 New Designs, New Features, New Themes
Thanks to so much valuable feedback, we’ve been hard at work improving the Pebble One you already know and love. The next version is:
-
Slimmer
-
Smoother to use
-
And features a new side button that lets you retract your cable even while the Pebbles are stacked.
Oh, and yes, we’ve added new colours. And we’ve got a few different themes coming your way too. More on that soon 👀
Over the next few weeks, we’ll be gathering even more feedback, so please, comment below and let us know what you want to see next from Pebbl.
Ariks Graduation 🎓
I want to take a moment to celebrate someone truly central to this journey.
Arik, my co-founder and the CEO of Pebbl Innovations, has officially graduated! 🎉
He’s earned a 2:1 in Mechanical Engineering, all while designing a product that’s now wanted across the globe. Balancing final-year deadlines with co-running a business is no small feat. From CAD models and fulfilment runs to pitch decks and product testing — Arik has done it all, often deep into the night.
Watching him walk the stage was a real privilege. It was emotional, proud, and honestly? A little bit hilarious… because yes, he clicked a Pebble on stage. Classic Arik.
Seeing his design gain worldwide attention is such an incredible achievement — and a testament to his focus, talent, and relentless drive. He’s shown what it means to start before you’re ready, to build as you go, and to believe that it will all eventually click.
Arik, I couldn’t be prouder.
Working alongside you has been the best decision I’ve ever made.
Well done, you've truly earned this. 🤍
🗞️ In the Press (Coming Soon)
-
We’ve also been chatting with the media a lot this past week, and we can’t wait to share more about that soon. Keep your eyes peeled for an upcoming article all about Pebbl’s journey (we’ll drop the link here once it’s live).
Until then, thank you, as always, for being here. For the shares, the messages, the support, and the belief in a small idea with big ambition.
🛑 A Quick Note on Scam Ads
We knew we were onto something when fake versions started popping up online, but honestly, it’s wild (and a little surreal) to see scam ads trying to sell "a case" that isn’t even a Pebble. We’ve had messages from some of you who were confused or concerned, and we want to be super clear:
👉 Pebbl is only sold through our official website.
If you see ads elsewhere, especially if they don’t link to our site, it’s not us.
We’ve already taken action to report these fake accounts and ads, and we’re doing everything we can to get them taken down. But progress is slow, and in the meantime, we’d really appreciate your help.
If you come across any dodgy ads or accounts pretending to be Pebble, please report them, and let us know too. We love and value this community so much, and the way you all continue to support and look out for us is something we’ll never take for granted.
💬 You can always check our official updates right here on our site or on Instagram @pebblinnovations.
Just start — and it’ll click. 🤍
Thanks for being here.
Thanks for believing in small beginnings.
— Holly x
